Just finished this book, and as someone who usually doesn't read, I found this book really enjoyable.
The deception of modern life in the book was really spot on, with people wanting to take soma to take breaks from reality, much like the escapism the internet and social media have created in the real world.
It almost feels life-like. How we have all these "luxuries" around us and we can indulge in TV, Internet, Social Media, and drugs. Yet even though these things are cheap and "good" they are not really good for you in too high of a dose. A dystopia where everything you could ever want, can be yours.
In any other recommendations I should read? Also would like to hear other anon's thoughts about it.
it gay
Reading it made me want to read Shakespeare instead of BNW.

I watched the movie a couple years ago and loved it, one of my favorite movies. Heard the movie was surprising better then the novel so I haven't tried reading it.

Movies and books are always different from each other. Only retards will try to state one objectively ahead of the other (one exception being Stephen King novels which are always worse than the movie).

>which are always worse than the movie
Which is really funny because the movies are also hilariously bad.

>Implying Shawshank Redemption is a bad movie
If this were IRL I would fight you outside. No shit, no anonymous posturing, no tough guy persona, you DO NOT call Shawshank a bad movie.
Start with the Greeks
Reality is nonexistent.
