Why would you hate Kerouac?

Kerouac is great, but he's not everyone's cup of tea, so the people who don't enjoy his stuff end up claiming he's a bad writer. He isn't. People give him a lot of shit for basically just writing diaries and publishing them, but *you* try doing that and tell me how easy it is.
