You must be joking, but this is hardly subtle. I suppose it could work if you incorporated Stirner into a design as a whole.

I have always considered myself leftist, even if I have some views which are more typical of the right, anyway, this website is embarrasing to me, not just the memery but also as they are co-opted. In some ways capitalism together with democracy, and stuff like freedom of speech, is the most genius societal system to have been build - with were we are now and with the knowledge we currently have. I mean, we do not have to oppress radical voices, we simply give them space to discuss and talk, signal their ideology with stuffs and clothing, maybe give them a minor political party, and make sure they stick with that and they do not get organized.

Maybe for the better, I think utopian ideologies like anarchism and communism are better not put into practice, and especially not far right ideas (hence I consider myself on the left).

On the other hand I think the problem with the current system is that it can sustain itself only on a short-term basis, it will keep the majority of the people occupied and satisfied, and the fringe minority occupied and uncapable, but the way it is build might enlargen that group of dissatisfied, and it endangers its existence by being so wasteful of the resources and energy it has - which is used to - as I said - preoccupy and satisfy the majority, instead of using it to strengthen the system for the future. That's how I see it, and I could be horrible wrong.

The way our system works is that it keeps the majority happy. Those who might oppose it are kept preoccupied. This is done with the help of voting, consumerism and freedom of speech. Those radicals are kept from organising. That might be better because many ideologies are utopian thus impractical, and far right ideas the most inhumane.

However because this system relies so much on (economic) freedom it is also wasteful on energy and resources. Restrictions on this freedom are problematic because that freedom is necessary for keeping the people preoccupied and happy. Capitalism also thrives on (economic) freedom, and also functions as a way of population control i.e. keeping them happy and preoccupied.

I tried to be more concise. I hope that your reaction had good intentions, and you weren't speaking on behalf of some vile linguistic superiority. I might have used a poor sentence structure but what I said doesn't come from a ramble, I simply put into different words what I've read on political science and systems science. I think it is possible that personal ideological bias slips in.

When I write something here I do it quickly and think what I write, I'm not making essays here. I think that now that I made it clearer you would still think it says very little, but that is also due to an assymetry of information. I could make an essay and explain everything in detail, and proof read it, and put citations in it. But this is 4chan.

Forgot to mention that I wear it to every single political event I can, including a socialist club thing at a uni in England while I was on exchange.

I also wore it to a Jeremy Corbyn rally thing a couple months ago and was desperately trying to get on camera cheering enthusiastically with the logo in full view. But I couldn't get close to the front.

>>

Yeah, most of the time it's partially covered by a open button-shirt, but it's still clearly visible.

Maybe people did notice, but no one commented on it. And the socialism/Marxist kids on campus arnt really well-read individuals. Most of them don't even know what socialism is, they want the system to stay the way it is, just with more government funding for education, health and welfare programs. Once you start talking about who owns the means of production they start getting lost. Not all, but a disappointing percentage.

>>
>>9825760
This is obvious when all people talk about it in relation to 1984 is the survialance aspect, when there's tons more that's just as relevant.

In an age of digital, and especially streamed (rather than downloaded) media, 1984 style rewriting of history is actually possible. In the book you had to suspend disbelief a bit that The Party could round up every copy of a newspaper/book and destroy it when they needed to change something, especially with the sheer amount of minor alterations they made every day.
But with online content, that you can't preserve yourself articles can be rewritten without your knowledge and the changes just appear when you refresh. We arnt quite there yet, but if one day the overwhelming majority of media consumption (including books) is done through streaming, then you'd never know if they quietly censored something at a later date unless you recorded it yourself.

To me that's scarier than mass deployment of CCTV in public places.

you should totally do that, Germans will laugh at you

well all human history is based on a certain level of trust

for example, how do you know for sure that the Aztecs ever existed? Do you trust what you've read? How do you know they're not just fantasy stories written the year before your birth? Have you ever seen an Aztec artifact? How do you know it wasn't made twenty yeas ago? Even if you see a pyramid with your own eyes, how do you know it's not a set? Do you understand "carbon dating"? Is that even real or just another fabrication to propagate the lies?

It's best just to not think about it
