What does /lit/ think of Agatha Christie, is this any good?

It's Christie's best book. Don't expect any groundbreaking prose, but it's got interesting characters and one of the best stories (in terms of pure plot) written in that period. The events are perfectly paced and you can really feel the noose tightening around the characters.
Will I enjoy her writings if I loved the poirot television show as a kid?

probably
I loved evil under the sun, murder on orientexpress and death on the nile
This should be her best
Ms Marple is okay, but I always liked Poirot better

Ten Little Niggers is worth a read
Just finished Orient Express, wanted to do so before the film came out.
Shitty prose, good plot. Decent distraction.
