Lord of the Rings, Alice and Bronte shouldn't be on the first part. despite the first two being children's books, they are also classics and have qualities that makes them much better than things like Harry Potter or Game of Thrones. Bronte on the other hand is a good author, not that great but still a good author.

Why is 1984 considered high tier in any of these, or by anyone general? At least the third of that book is just a guy explaining the canny tricks he and his girlfriend did to commit adultery. The rest of it feels like a parody of an actual dictatorship, it's so overblown and over the top that you have to be retarded not to find it funny.
