What are some quirky reading habits of yours?

Me: in the library or bookstore I (yes) first judge the covers. Then I smell the book, and listen carefully to the sounds of the pages turning. If it soothes me, I consider reading it. Usually what happens is that I feel the emotions radiating from the book. For example, I did the above with 1984 and it radiated a strong aggressive vibe, so I was startled (heavy heartbeat and all that) and didn't read it for these obvious reasons.
Sometimes I am not in the mood of reading a full book, so what I do is pick a random book, and read one (it really has to be one) random page.
Besides this I record my favorite quotes from books (with my own voice). I've made a complication with a trance tune on the background of it and listen to it everyday.
