is there anything like a survey of all metaphysical theories? i'm talking stuff like mereology, theories about infinitely divisible constituent parts of matter, protons, neutrons and electrons existing outside of an atom, their constituent parts existing outside of them, etc. anyone got something good? not looking for someone who has a bone to pick in dismissing them, or who is wishfully thinking, just descriptions of historically cool ones/possibilities.

Just go read Descartes. Sounds like you got confused about what meta physics means man. Just means above physics
Probably bait but whatever

Contemporary analytic metaphysics is what you're looking for. Metaphysics: The Big Questions by Inwagen and Zimmerman will probably serve your purposes
