Are there any good books which have the moral/a strong sense that human beings are largely impotent to truly overcome suffering, cowardly, wretched, uncertain and so the only worthwhile response is find the courage to fashion yourself to respond with love, abundance perhaps playfulness to the extent you can.
In my best moments this seems like the only task worth doing but then 15 minutes later I tend to not even be bothered with that either. Perhaps better minds can expand that sense in me/us
