He was like an early 20th Century, almost sci-fi/horror writer... I think he created the giant squid as ruler idea... Not Jules Vern. They made a movie about this isolated coastal town that was creepy. You know the guy... My brain has locked up, and refuses to remind me who... God Damn!

So the reason I'm interested in the guy(never read him before), is because I'm listening to VALIS by PKD on tapeTube. I guess some girl with a Christ fish made him, and Horselover, go nuts. The pink light.
And then I remember that Lovecraft mentioned those that used that symbol. And then G*d spoke to me, in an avocado and orange light, and said, "make a thread about that shit, you. Like with the fisher of men thing going on."
