Start with Keats/Shelley/other romantics, frost and Tennyson
They are great, fairly "easy" and give you a survey of 3 different poetical groups: romantic, modern and Victorian respectively

It has decent commentary, and a good selection of older poems.

If you want a poet to start off with, i would recommend John Donne
