Selfish, Little is by far his most human work, and the part where his angry rant on how Downey was seen as the media suddenly stops for Sotos to say about how she was worth protecting as a child is really fucking powerful.

His zines are pure trash though, there's no real denying that.

I've been thinking of scanning them since forever (specially since one of these volumes has Show Adult, a book that was not only print in only 113 copies but was chased off Amazon by angry moms who somehow heard about it, making it effectively impossible to find) but i lack the hardware to do any scanning.

don't remember where i found it, i think just some random book/file sharing site. It's a really high quality PDF scan too, from those Collected Peter Sotos volumes (Lordotics comes from the first one, which i don't have, i have volumes 2 & 3)

What baffles me is how Tool has never been uploaded. I read the first short story (it's eight short stories total) and holy shit did it left me wanting for more.

Sotos supposedly does not like his work getting put on the internet, and considering the limited community that this stuff appeals to, I'd imagine most are willing to respect his wishes.

There's also the exclusiveness of it all. If you're nuts enough about an author to drop $200 on one of his books or whatever the hell they're going for, then you might be hesitant to share it with people who aren't willing to take that kind of leap themselves. I'm one of those undedicated plebs though so I wish some people would get more of it online. I really want to read Comfort & Critique.

Art And Selected Writings is the best book on Darger because it gives you 114 of his paintings along with the text they're illustrating, so you actually get the condensed story of the fight of the Vivian Girls. Real masterpiece, and i reckon it's gotta be interesting for people interested in psychology too.

I never liked that point of view, and i'm of the firm believe that all information should be made available online, even if not for free.

Comfort & Critique is great, but i'd say Show Adult is actually his greatest work of analysing pornographic scripts and "socially acceptable pornography".
