I write every day. Short stories are what I really enjoy, but I have a novel that I don't intend to publish that I work on when I don't have a story idea just to keep up the practice.

I never do less than 600 words, which is not a lot but it is my absolute minimum, so it's what I do if I've had a shit day and have to force myself to write or am feeling uninspired. Normally I write about 1000-1500 words.
