OP and the people in this thread are retarded / haven't read the book. First off, they aren't types in the sense that you fit into one and that's that. You are supposed to consider them as different modes of energy that all men possess and enter through at different points in their lives via ritual.

Second, yes, there is more to it. Each of the four has a mature and immature form. The immature form of the King is the Divine Child, for example. Each mature and immature form has two shadow forms as well, depending on the side of the scale the imbalance rests on.

We move through these modes of spirit at different points in our lives, and each matures at a different rate. People often don't move through all of them in their lives or succeed at maturing all four angles of the masculine spirit, which the authors blame the absence of proper rituals and the knowledge of ritual use on. Sometimes a person only emphasizes one particular form, sometimes a shadow form, which the book draws up various simplistic examples in modern society to illustrate.

Grew up in the frame of mind "no one tells me what to do and I tell no one what to do", but of course life doesn't work that way. If you don't want to be isolated, you lead or follow.
