Thoughts on college language:
I have to option to take ancient Greek or Russian next year in college. I am Russian and want to learn about my heritage but ancient Greek is the foundation of western Canon. What do?

Take Russian, learn Greek on your own if you are truely interested, gaining fluency in a language is an extracurricular activity, take Russian for baby steps learning and a good base to help you get fluent later on your own.
