Reading Greek is good, so is Athenaze. Get a book with lots of Greek text to read, grammar is less important if reading fluency is your goal.
How well can you read Latin? How long did it take?
Athenaze (the Italian edition is better) and Greek: An Intensive Course.

Thanks. Latin is still tough for me. Wheelock's sort of fucked me over in that sense. It takes me a couple re-reads to get an entire passage. Some sentences click right away, but when it comes to paragraphs they're harder because if I miss something I don't understand the next line.

Greek that will have me reading the tragedians, Herodotus, Thucydides, Plato, Aristotle. If I can accomplish that I'll go to Homeric.
