I know we have a /crit/ general, but why not a /writing/ general?
The absorption and creation of independent and thought provoking speech should, in my opinion, be our greatest goal.
So what say you lads?
I completely agree anon but most of /lit/ comes here for validation and anything that could possibly combat their tiny minds poses a humanitarian threat.
Anyway, what shall we discuss through dialectic means.
Sounds good. I'm currently almost done with a novel, and am planning out my next one.

Consider that /lit/ is already a writing general, only without the pretense of talking about ourselves or our process we talk about great works: meme fiction, philosophy and theology lately. Seems a potent brew for new ideas imo. There are other forums on the internet where people take their time and put forward thoughtful, useful information on writing. The anonymous nature of /lit/ does not reward that sort of behavior. And that's fine. Also this board is full of faggots.

thought is no end in itself. people should look for the truth, and hold it tightly when they find it
If we come up with something that /lit/ likes I'm sure the mods will try and shut it down in due time. They seem to be doing that a lot more lately.
