have any of u read 'zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance' and what is it like? Is it pop-philosophy or is it actually good?
Take a guess.

it's actually good
Why ask us? Just go ahead and read it, should take about 4 hours if you are a very slow reader.

>500 pages
>4 hours
H-heh, no p-problem
I couldn't read more than 3 or 4 pages owing to it's overwhelming gayness.

Those are four hours I could be fapping to celebrity feet pics.

The only thing I endorse about celebrities is that they're manicured from head to, literally, toe.
It's decent, the story is somewhat engaging and the philosophy aspect actually reaches a nice conclusion along with the story at the end.
Tbh though, I didn't really look at any background the first time I read it and had assumed the story was fiction, so I was disappointed it didn't have the tragic twist ending that I thought it was building up to.

those are some pretty cute feet
I enjoyed it, it was accessible and to me was a nice introduction to the arguments behind monism and dualism. Having read further, not quite all that he says is in line with current academia, but it was an enjoyable take with a comfy story and interesting parallels.
