Just read this. Absofuckinlutely worth reading. I enjoyed it a lot. Irish authors have something beautiful to them. Irish and Americans.

i went into it expecting that, and it's essentially what i got. it was hell repeating itself, did you read the publication note at the back of the book? it clears up a few things, makes sense of it all. I started getting suspicious about whether he was still, uh, living, early on when he speaks to the "No" guy. It was somewhat predictable in what he was doing, but once i let go of trying to puzzle it out, it really did feel like a Douglas Adams book. Classic zany shit.

It's funny, but as someone not at all interested in Irish culture (English master race) I thought it was pretty boring and stopped reading half way through.
