I actually don't know how many lectures will be held but I will get aprox 2 hours of one-on-one per week
I suspect all this material will be split over two semesters

I've already read some. This is just the enire reading list is all. One piece of advice a professor gave me was that it wasn't about the amount of books i've read but more about my critical skills

Fuck Penguin, you'll want the Ignatius critical editions. You might want to look into something like Flash Notes, with that you can probably get away with not reading everything.
