It's not Sci-fi, and properly speaking he didn't really write Sci-fi after Time Out of Joint. After that book he took to examining Chrsitian metaphysics using certain conventions of Sci-fi. You really ought to read The Transmigration of Timothy Archer which is a more lucid treatment of his major themes.
