I think that storytelling through video games is one of the most retarded lost causes in human history but even I'll admit that Nier and Metal Gear Solid 2 are well done. They play in a kind of janky but good Japanese way if that makes sense. Every winter, since the end of my high school years, I volunteer with the forest service. My best written work arises around that time.

Up until a few months ago, I would religiously play hours upon hours of video games. I stopped cold when I realized that it was a useless hobby, done so to sate yearnings of easy achievement. I just wanted to be productive while I pursued the same yearnings, so I started writing short articles that small news outlets pay little amounts for.
