just glancing through your list, which, btw, is sublime b8, I should like to mention that LE ARTHUR IS DEAD is basically a nihilistic recap of the beautiful idea held in antiquity (and never really lost, DESU) that artists do not know what they do, and work at the behest of the muses, or divine inspiration. Changing the motive force from "the gods" to "culture," while much less convincing, is not as much of an act of parricide as you'd like.
