Either/Or and honestly that is the only thing I liked. If your are interesting in larping as a Christian you might like "The Sickness Unto Death"
Anybody here know Danish? How different is the original vs translations?
I'm asking because I know intermediate level German and I've heard that Danish is a pretty similar language.

HEY, i only read Fear and trembling and didn't liked it... but i do love the Elliott Smith album Either/or, could you ellaborate on why you thought this book was better? Does it focus more on the aesthetic and stuff or religion and stuff? thanks mate
These responses are fucking atrocious, what the hell is this board?

It is an argument between aesthetic and morality and he gives each side a compelling voice. I think he wanted to depict the aesthetic lifestyle as devoid of meaning ultimately but it isn't dull about it. Eliot Smith is pretty great too. Sometimes I want to turn white as a saint too.

Wow what an informative post

Fun fact. Elliott Smith studied Kierkegaard while attending Hampshire college, and while in Heatmiser, Neil Gust would sometimes introduce him on stage as Soren Kierkegaard.
