Anyone read this piece of inadvertently crypto-fascist dreck? I seriously wonder how this could come from a left-wing author. It's like he couldn't be more wrong about human drive and motivation.

There's tons of crypto-fascist philosophy among the British and French New Left.

True. It's why I'm a crypto-fascist.

Oh, like who?

Basically. I wouldn't say indirectly as much as without being honest about it. OP here, by "crypto" I didn't mean to actually imply Russell was some sort of fascist hiding his true agenda, rather that he comes across as someone who inadvertendly, unconciously makes a case for fascism. Hiding his true agenda from himself, maybe.

Deleuze and Foucault, both steered the socialist parties in France off a cliff face, then proceeded to accept payments from the Government for the remainder of their lives.

Sounds like dick moves, but I wouldn't call that fascism.

Foucault also supported Ayatollah Khomeini, who proceeded to round up and murder leftists en masse.
>>9723368
He did? Damn.

B Russy is unironically the most successful failed philosopher.
At least he gave us Wittgenstein.
