Lovecraft and Howard desu. Look past the word "nigger" and description of blacks as "apelike" and find the actually interesting stuff about each man's philosophical world view demonstrated with stories. It is also interesting to read both side by side, as contemporaries and friends by correspondence who died one year apart, with essentially opposite conclusions drawn from the same perspective on the nature of humanity and civilization as such.
