/lit/, I'm looking for new political philosophy books to read and a friend recommended Noam Chomsky- Which of his books should I pick up? Or should I pick up a different author?
Manufacturing Consent

Manufacturing consent is probably his best/magnum opus.
Understanding power is the easiest to read as it's just a collection of speeches.
>Should I read a different author
Nah he's good, propaganda model is still really cool even if I don't really agree with it (not a fan of leftism)

If you want his political philosophy (to the extent that he has one, and he's quick to say he doesn't), read "Notes on Anarchism" (in Chomsky on Anarchism) and "The Responsibility of Intellectuals". For his politics, check out Manufacturing Consent as other anons said, and maybe Profit Over People.
