What the fuck does that have to do with anything?
OP's just looking for some easy-to-read digest abridged children's version of the Bible with all the fun and cool stories.

I don't see much difference.
They make bible story books for kids and teenagers who can't read the bible yet. There's no shame in buying this if you think you need it.
If you want commentaries there's a lot of those.
If you want a history of the church(es) or church figures there's a lot of those too.
If your goal is to steep yourself in slowly, C.S. Lewis and G.K. Chesterton have good things to say.
Lucky for you a lot of good material is out of copyright so you don't even have to pay.

Because anon in Greek Roman and Norse mythology you need to know the names of all the gods demigods monsters and heroes, because most matter and repeat in stories. In the holy Bible there is one God and so we have to focus on people. So it's not worth half assing the book, just read the Bible.

There's really no reason to half-ass Greek mythology either, just read the epic poems and the plays. The best stories are those about mortals or demigods anyway.
And it's not as if books like Leviticus and Deutronomy are very interesting reads. Not that I don't agree with you, people should just read the Bible if they are interested in Christianity
