I've got a nice durable, leather cover that can fit a composition notebook. Normally, it locks with a little hole+strap that becomes closed when you stick a pen through it, but I use a little lock+key to keep it locked.Seems like there's little market for custom locked journals unfortunately.

Whats the point of writing a diary if noone is going to read it?

Why do you write diaries/ what do you write in them?

In a suitcase in a closet behind a guitar, thinking of just making my own orthography in runes so I can write it in public

My "diary" is just a notepad document i always keep open. I just write down thoughts, notes, or things i need to remember.

I just write it in runes. Encryption is overkill.

I don't hide it I carry it with me most of the time. No one wants to read it so I don't worry about hiding it
