Western philosophy is a perpetual rebellion against embodied man in favor of the creation of "man" and is only moving in the direction of eliminating the former after which we will realize the latter is superfluous. The East glimpsed the circle and realized the ouroboros for what it is. Most "Eastern" literature that is spoken of in this board (Mishima, Dazai, Murakami) is not representative of the Eastern tradition but is a reflection of this self-destruction.
