I'm in awe after finishing. Probably the greatest piece of writing I've ever laid eyes on. Just masterful from start to finish. It's going to be a while before I read something else.

You need to lay eyes on more pieces of writing then.
it's the greatest book I've ever read hands down. not just the craft of it but how it hits you.
Just wanted to say I really like this book as well, the amount of symbolism and meaning is crazy and the writing is amazing, great book I 100% agree. So far it's my favorite book as well.

wow, you must be so clever!
I found it rather drab and dull. And the lack of punctuation doesn't help.
It felt like one long, run on sentence of le edgy ultraviolence.
Pa. Why are eggs breakfast?
What.
You can put bacon on lunch.
Ye.
But if you put eggs on stuff it becomes breakfast?
The man spat and said the eggs are not for this world or from this world they come from the chicken but the chicken knows it not.
He wiped his chin and spat
I love this book.
Greatest ever is a bit of a stretch though, you definitely need to keep reading more.

Sounds a bit like Clockwork Orange. I loved Clockwork Orange. Thanks for the recommendation, anon.

If a novel wants to take itself super seriously, that's fine, but it needs to be more than some edgy western tale about scalpin' injuns.
This is just some unimaginative, self-important novelist riffing on "survival of the fittest" and aping literary darlings. If you're gonna try and evoke The Holy Fucking Bible with your novel, you better fucking deliver, otherwise you get some ridiculous pablum like The Evening Redness in the West.
