Please give me a well reasoned description of how they are. I'll give you time to furiously Google but I won't respond.

For fuck sake, just tell me already. I have this book at home but Edith's version is the one that many people call the best - I just want a list of stories that are in Edith's, and not in this.
Can somebody please say if it's good or not.

Why would you not just read all of the primary material detailing the myths, like Hesiod and Homer? Why would you read through so much secondary material that just says the same thing in less beautiful words? Hamilton's book is pretty decent, but it should be used as more of a reference guide than a book where you learn from.

Hesiod's and Homers' books do not contain everything

This. But if you want secondary material read Ovid's metamorphoses
