I'm creating a fantasy world, but I am having a problem coming up with names. Especially because there are so many things (places, characters, etc) that need naming and because it is hard to find a name that does not sound autistic. How can I have an easier coming up with names?
The easiest way that I can come up with when I'm writing new names for places or people is to just think of a language root. Say that a character is supposed to be from a land of ice and snow. Since the northern countries are more inclined to be freezing, look at those languages. Russian. Dutch. Swedish. Then, just form into that language. Snostov. There's your location. In terms of it sounding autistic, that's really up to you to decide whether or not you would name something "autistic" sounding or not.

You need a coherent phonology. Are you using any real-world cultures as touchstones? Do you have a notion of language(s) that might be spoken?
Just take all your place and character names from NAZI history
As long as you don't call the big hero Hitler or some other such dumb thing nobody will even notice
