Only familiar with Dreaming. Her imagination seems oddly limited-- or maybe my experience reading words is just profoundly different. She images too concretely, too slowly, too third-personly.
Consider the word 'river' --I don't really see it but (if this makes sense) feel it intensely. Something happens round the rim of my nostrils that occurs when i'm aware of the subtle smell of fresh river water, and the act of reading on from it (the word) is somewhat akin to the flow of the river itself, whether fast or slow.
I'm sure we all do things like this differently, almost unconsciously.
She does try hard, though. Is weirdly lovable. Has good taste in books.
