Reminder that the recommended Bible changes every year. Last 2 years was KJV and before that it was briefly NRSV, and before that New Ox Annotated as well.

Research what each bible tries to do and decide on which you prefer for your purposes.

Almost everyone asking for Bible recommendations nowadays seems to be asking for a good study bible though so atleast it kinda makes sense that it have moved away from just a plain KJV bible
