Why are conservative writers and pundits so much more convincing than their left wing counter-parts?

Is it simply because their arguments are better?

>because their arguments are better?
this is one of the reasons, yes.

Also conservatives tend to be smarter and more clear-headed than left wingers. They are also more virtuous.

You don't even know you're not conservatives but rather right-liberals

Well, many of them have a sense of lineage when it comes to logic and reason. No doubt, Bill probably studied classical philosophy and some of the early modern stuff during his formative years. Having a Catholic education also kind of helps with that.

I don't find O'Reilly or pundits like him compelling regardless of their political affiliation. I notice that the talking points on the right seem more direct, I'm unsure if that means that their points are less nuanced. The American "left" also has to not offend their donor class so they won't use simple, class-based rhetoric.

Conservatism is right-liberalism by design. It's not so much a political ideology as trying to stop the growth/destruction of progressive ideology.

>Is it simply because their arguments are better?

Their arguments are built off common experiences that anyone can relate to. As an example the common equating of national debt to managing a personal check book. It doesn't matter that the two are completely different but that appeal to a simplistic personal and everyday example makes it more convincing. And when no one bothers to question the argument of course it makes perfect sense and anyone who doesn't think so is wrong.

Where as the left avoids these types of arguments and much of their platform is centered around the abstract or theory making it harder to properly conceptualize and more prone to misunderstanding/resistance.

>Conservatism is right-liberalism by design.
Nope.
>It's not so much a political ideology as trying to stop ... growth/destruction [by] progressive ideology.
This is more or less it.
Originally it was about returning to the past system of monarchy and church, and liberalism was it's chief enemy. But it failed to turn back the clock and was mostly appeased with the dismantling of empires and the growth of nationalism. Of course the forward thinking people countered the liberals with socialism and anarchism, but the wealthy have been pitting these groups against each other rather reflexively to their benefit.

It's kind of funny. The "right" want to go back in time, the "left" want to go forward and the liberal capitalists just want the cash here and now, without a thought to the past or future.

funny how 'conservatives' waste their time chasing imaginary 'progressive marxist' spectres while outright worshipping the greatest destructive and deterritorialising force humanity has ever known: that is, capitalism. Bill O'Reilly 'conservativism' is just a way to trick boomers with TV induced brainrot into thinking the boss, Netanyahu and the military industrial complex are their friends and know whats good for them.
>>
>>9587083
Here's another good example.

The right often takes a fairly well explained concepts from pop culture and appropriates them into their own methodology. With the added bonus of making it appear as if acceptance of their particular ideology or beliefs is "enlightening" and elevates the individual to a higher stature.
>>
>>9587092
just imagine being a 20 something dork who thinks he's cool/edgy for regurgitating basic neocon propaganda and hanging out with the college republicans (dude whose dad owns a car dealership, bowtie, kekistan fedora). Unless you are some sort of NeoStraussian master operator manipulating those rubes for your own NeoPlatonic ends, you are probably getting fucked over in the end.

you forgot that they're also more creative and handsome

It's pretty much the exact opposite of what you have described. Impressive how you have arrived at the very antithesis of the truth

Slit your wrists

>the left's arguments are not built on the abstract
I hate leftist but you understand they're informed by a grand narrative of history relayed to them by a Jew and eagerly awaiting the end times when capitalism exhausts itself, yes? Why are stormcucks like you always fucking retarded?

Screencapped your post.

They're provably wrong on almost any point they try to make, and aren't convincing to any honest person, you ridiculous shills.
