There are books? Usually books based on Japanese anime or vidya are pretty bad, then you have to deal with rough translations on top of that. There are some Kamen Rider novels I hear are pretty god tier and have been trying to track down for a while.

Well, none that are like Godzilla movies, if that's what you mean.
But Lovecraft, like others have said, if you wanna read about gigantic nightmarish creatures
botns to some extent, but in that case, its not the main focus, and it deconstructs giant monsters to make them more physically plausible on (u-)earth.
