It depends on how it is done. It probably analyzes the text word by word, not by context. So it would be useless to try that method, unless you take the most common elements of those books. Say, the word most used by the author.

It's just a meme website with the purpose of producing "i'm a le artiste" facebook posts. Don't take it seriously, it's all in good fun. If you try hard enough and know enough about an authors style on a surface level you can get that writer. I wrote a paragraph in the spirit of Portrait and got Joyce, for example. It's all in good fun though and not a test of skill.

It might be uncouth of me to say being as I am an uneducated member of the proletariat, but the "philosophy" being created in modern day academia is quite worthless. So much time and effort is spent reading and rereading older texts that it seems they've lost all ability to form their own thoughts and opinions on anything. The study of older texts isn't not useful but when you spend you're entire career zooming in closer and closer, endlessly cutting the text into smaller and smaller pieces desperate to try and find some yet undiscovered hidden meaning you become uselessly myopic in your views.

Socrates did not spend his time in a library cloistering himself off from the world in a vain attempt to obtain knowledge. Rather he took what he could from his predecessors and analyzed and quantified it not through rigorous study but through debate with others. If philosophy is an attempt to answer questions of the utmost importance then it stands to reason that the best way to learn the answer is to start by actually asking the question. Modern philosophers, a term I use with the highest amount of condescension possible, pose the question to a book, and unfortunate as it may be I've never known a book to talk back to me. For every text that exists there exists two things to be gained. Questions that can be used to attempt to divine the truth and the meanings that you project onto the book yourself.

For every author ninety percent of the meaning of the book is only known to himself, sure they can write a few things on a page, but what about the context of the creation. Why was the book created, for whom, at what time, what was excised from the passages, what added and when, just how many revisions has it gone through, why is it worded the way it is and why, and most importantly what was the author thinking not just when the work was wrote but during the creation of every line. Scholars can study context and lives of these people for years endlessly striving to capture the context of creation, but what they're after is unobtainable. In the end the true meaning of the work dies with the author. All that's left is some words on a page and the meanings ascribed to them by people who will never understand what they truly meant.

Still shit considering for translations such a thing will be dependent on the translator, being as plenty of writers never wrote anything in English.
