Yeah this is really stupid. Hedonism does not advocate for lazyness. If you are lazy, you aren't truly experiencing the pleasures in life, the rich joys which hedonism seeks to maximize. Also its not a totally selfish philosophy as we gain great pleasure from giving and it can be interpreted as a hedonic experience. Also a variation of the ethical realist argument could be made tracing all decisions to a primal urge of utilitarian pleasure, thus hedonism but that argument is very convoluted and kind of pretentious.
