De Officiis, De Amicitia, and De Senectute are my favorites.

Read Mark Antony get BTFO in Cicero's Second Philippic:

>You are a drink-sodden, sick-ridden wreck. Never a day passes in that ill-reputed house of yours without orgies of the most repulsive kind.

>Concentrate, please -- just for a little. Try to make your brain work for a moment as if you were sober.

Also, On Duties, a manual of right behavior written to his son.

>No one will ever write anything more wise, more true, or more useful. From now on, those whose ambition it is to give men instruction, to provide them with precepts, will be charlatans if they want to rise above you, or will all be your imitators.
> --Voltaire

You just reminded me of high school...
>Post iucundam iuventutem
>Post molestam senectutem

I don't get it, sorry for my ignorance but in all my lurking moar faget I don't know what you're referring to and Google turns up nothing.

I suggest first you read ABOUT him in Plutarch's Lives (which is always damn entertaining reading)
Then once you know some context, decide on one of his oratories. Pick the one that interests you most, you'll get the most out of it.

It's a song we had to memorize for Latin classes, called "Gaudeamus igitur". My Latin is shit so a single word ("senectute") triggered the memories.
>>
I read through a selection of his defence oratories out of interest. Some light background reading helps, but in general they're damn good stories and some passages are absolutely brilliant. Meaning to start with his political speeches soon
