Michel Houellebecq. What should I read by him first?
And what should I read to prepare myself for him so that I get the most out of him? I've concerned myself with the Greeks, in case anyone is thinking of suggesting that.

He doesn't have hidden depths. He's a pretty mainstream, shallow writer. Buy atomised at the airport and read it on a beach.

I think platform is the best, although I read it a long time ago so maybe I wouldn't like it now. I also enjoyed map and territory. Soumission is OK, the rest is not as good.
