Why are Zero Books bad? I was about to illegally download some of them. Mark Fisher's stuff seems good. I enjoy their youtube channel too.

I guess a lot of it does come across as cheap or hastily put together, but they're only short essays

Any American Christian publisher. They pump out hundreds of "thrillers" that are either imitations of New York Times bestsellers watered-down to include no sex or violence, paranoid persecution fantasies, or elaborate tableaus of sinners "getting what's coming to them". All in sub-King airport novel prose.
