>Tfw you're smarter than the author you're currently reading.
I hate brainlet authors (Dan Brown)
>>9485906
Whenever dan brown's characters pause in their dodging of bullets to talk about the educational and historical aspects of the newest grand ballroom they've had to run through in order to keep the christians from destroying science, I literally jizz all over the place
>>9485906
how is it?
>>9485912
Your opinion is yours
>>9485906
yet he's a rich famous author and youre still a virgin.
>>9485932
Money is not the ultimate sign of success you fuck face
>>9485936
It is, actually
>>9485951
You have a lot to learn
>>9486051
You are a phone posting idiot
We live in a capitalist society, no matter how much your commie ass whines about it
If have have 500.000 dollars that is literally an exact measure of how much I contributed to society
>>9486070
Lmao!! I just spotted the idiot in the room
>>9485906
Why are you reading Dan Brown in the first place?
>>9486075
Not an argument, phoneposter.
>>9485932
not op but whether or not someone is rich and famous doesn't make them immune to criticism. plus dan brown is a shit-tier writer.
>>9486070
you live in a capitalist society......not a meritocracy, fucktard.
>>9485951
>>9486070
>defining self worth in dollar amounts
>using insults as an "argument"
>...while pointing out someone else's lack of argument
>best insult you can come up with is "phoneposter"
thanks for the laugh friendo
>>9486070
This happens so much on /lit/ it's strange
People try to appear cynical and down-to-earth but the more they do, the more it's obvious they don't have a clue about literally anything and probably don't know how to cross the street in a crowded city
>>9486070
>kid gets born
>inherits 3 million dollars
There you go, I just disproved your (hopefully) bait. I can do it again. Here:
>get high position in company because nepotism
>do fuck all work
>make 500k/annum
Again:
>make shitty, sketchy startup
>hire a bunch of people
>don't pay them, lie to them
>don't do any work except some basic management occasionally
>sell the startup
>leave with all the money
Instances like these are how 90% of rich people got rich, anon. In any case, even if you put the work into getting a lot of money, that isn't a measure of success at all. What makes you feel fulfilled and happy is what success is. Maybe the work + money does, maybe just the money does. Depends on the individual, but the money in of itself isn't success. The resulting fulfillment and happiness is.
