Definitely worth reading to ponder the ideas put forth, and also to understand the genesis of post-colonial theory. I wouldn't say that I agree with most of the ideas, however.

Fascinating book by a powerfully original thinker. Post colonial theory has obviously made strides since then, but it is definitely a work of tremendous force even now. Contributed to my three exceptions rule toward political pacifism.
