Utilitarianism.
It's kind of absurd to think you have to choose one or the other. If I have to pick one or the other, I tend toward a very strict rule utilitarianism that for all practical purposes will give the same answer as deontology for most things. I just think deontology has too many absurd consequences.

Recommended texts on Ethics that build off the principals of authority structure in Apologia and Crito?
Utilitarianism as mental state welfarism without a specified linear ordering or algebra, i.e. isolated from the value gloss that's attributed to the diverse qualities of a qualia. Where one of the therefrom implied and feasible idealized states of well being from the variously generated alternatives by the passion of a universal compassion is achieved through pragmatic means, carefully avoiding its own aversion.

I think the truly relevant question is, if you had the ability and opportunity to do so, would you? What would your conscience say?
Also, she clearly likes books. Be sure to factor that into consideration.

>condemn an action regardless of its outcome
Stupid. Rule utilitarianism isn't as autistic as deontology nor as irresponsible as act utilitarianism. Virtue ethics is just hipster response.
