Why the fuck would they count specifically as 2 pages, you moron? They would only be two if you had one page of references. If you had two pages of references, then you would have 3 pages outside of the body of the essay thay still counts towards the 8-10 page total.

i once saw a professor try to read out his syllabus, but he stopped every other sentence to explain it wasn't an absolute and there were so many exceptions. his pants were visibly wet by the end of the class.
