most of murakami's books are about misfits but the protagonist of this one isn't a misfit, more of a victim.

Just take the murakami, I don't care if it's his worst book, it's better than getting stuck with one of these other books. The Pale King is the only other acceptable choice.

Before I saw this list, I was going to say that you should pick literally anything else besides the Murakami book.

I was wrong. That's the shittiest book list I've ever seen. I honestly don't know how someone can make a list of 60 books and have only two of them be at least readable.
