As for the thread, it was a long time I bought a hardcover. I just hate how you can't read them everywhere, and how careful you have to be when reading them. They look pretty good on a bookshelf, but I do enjoy just piling my paperbacks ontop of eachother.

Yeah that's 100%, but I personally enjoy a scruffy paperback, while a beat-up hardcover looks like shit. Also the weight.
