>that new book smell
Ahh simply intoxicating. I am a huge proponent of e-readers, but damn, it's the little things like the smell of a new book that always have me crawling back.

I don't buy used books. I don't know where they've been.

Do you know where new books have been?

I guess not, but the library in my home town had to brick up the book return chute because people had shit in it (chest height) and it always sat in the back of my mind just how far people went to ruin books.

That's not really a crime aimed at book, they were just incidental. More likely anger at the library staff or simply mayhem for the sake of it (teenagers and the teenage-minded).

What about that new e-reader smell, op? Seriously, I like the smell oh new electronics. It's probably something they put into the plastics to keep those vietnamese children going.

Do you enjoy new books that much more than used ones?
>>9425563
Not really, it was mainly contrarian shitposting. I prefer fine hardcovers anyway. Whether new or old they tend to be more expensive than paperbacks.
This "book smell" is literally pure reddit, even other parts of reddit make fun of it
