why does everyone rave about this shitty self help novel?
i dunno, why?

Because a lot of people are very stupid.

I've only read Veronica Decides To Die. The shitstorm kept away from that one.
Provides a few good ideas in an easy to digest form. If you've a pleb who has never encountered these ideas before, it's "life changing dude I had the treasure all along we're all god dude lmao"

I liked it when I was 15

I feel like no one talks about this in North America

You need to meet more dumb hippies then.

I read it for high school. It was a fun read, thats about it.
>why do people with not much interest in something fall for the most dumbed down garbage
Just think of any interest you know little about, and your taste would most likely be shit too, to people who put a lot of time into it.
Wait, what was the self help part?

read in one day when I was in hgh school. Actually not so bad, but definetily not high literature.
It's worth a read I guess, but not if you're already into the classics, and have some knowledge of philosophy, then it's just the pseudo religious/mystic part, which makes for a good myth, but I don't think there's much more behind it, than autstic underage plebs.

The success of "The Alchemist" is his argumentative simplicity wich makes the reading a lot more easy for everyone including teens
I've actually read a book by coelho. The zahir. My mom got it as a gift from a neighbor. It wasn't really bad; just gay.

my mother's book club just read it which means it's plebshit since they can't even handle YA sometimes.

i dunno why.
