You should read more than that by Kafka, preferably everything he ever wrote
>>9406413
Including, unironically, his diary, desu.
>>9406419
Yeah, that's what I meant, and his letters too. Everything is art, literally without exception
>>9406426
The 19th century list is god-tier.
No French lit chart?

I can't read Kafka without laughing, later on learned that Kafka cringed from laughter when reading his own stuff and felt vindicated.

It's as wonderful as I remembered
>>9408535
Crime and Punishment is a good introduction. Beyond that it doesn't matter too much, but I'd suggest saving TBK till you're more familiar with his work.
Order I read him in: Crime and Punishment, Notes from Underground, The Idiot, Demons, The Adolescent, Brothers Karamazov. During the whole thing read bits and pieces from A Writer's Diary.
Poor Folk and White Nights are also worth checking out.
>>9406389
read Letter to His Father first though

Read Fluent Forever by Gabriel Wyner, you'll be able to put together your own plan for any language with that book.

>>9410308
The fact that it's a chart that actually gives you practical knowledge on the subjects it talks about, rather than just being an introduction to some ideology.
>>9412390
His writings completely changed how I view my relationships with women.
That being said, I was quite young when I read the majority of what I did read.
>>9412963
Have you read some of the books on there?
>>9413287
Most of them, I mean I didn't read those particular editions of Micro and Macro economics but whatever, why?

Start with his short novels: The Gambler, The Double, Notes from the Underground.
Neal Stephenson ?
>>9406567
I just read it cover to cover. The complete works I have is organized by when they were written, so it's enjoyable to see how his style and mythos evolves chronologically.
